The company

Bit Plastics started its operation in 2010 and has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years.

Through our professional delivery of quality products at a competitive price, we are proud to manage in our portfolio customers such as Makro, ABInBev, Westpack Lifestyle, Pick ‘n Pay and many other FMCG companies in Southern Africa and South America.

Our products (Pallets, Collapsible Crates, Corner Plates and Chairs) are contamination free and are made of virgin and recycled plastic, depending on our customers’ needs.

All products are quality controlled using ABInBev quality standards and procedures. The company is working towards ISO9002 approval.

Our manufacturing capabilities

We use HDPE virgin or 100% recycled material across 7 injection moulding machines, ranging from 88 to 1800 ton.

Our recycling pelletised capacity is 700 ton per month.

Our virgin raw material capability is a minimum of 600 ton per month.

Our technical capabilities

BitPlastics have technicians on hand with more than 20 years of experience in the industry with the ability to assess and train injection molding staff.

We also have an in-house lab technician with more than 15 years experience and a degree in chemical, colour mixing analysis.

Top management with over 35 years of experience in the industry with a degree in plastic technology.
